For all of you that play Battlefield you would have noticed that over the past few days you were unable to play you game without any issues as you kept being disconnected from EA Online and either kicked from the server or not even able to join. Well it seems that the reason behind this is that EA was being attacked with a brutal DDOS attack on its servers.

For those of you that don't know what a DDOS attack is "DDOS, short for Distributed Denial of Service, is a type of DOS attack where multiple compromised systems -- which are usually infected with a Trojan -- are used to target a single system causing a Denial of Service (DoS) attack." So basically it just keeps flooding the servers so that it cannot handle its traffic it needs to.

According to the Battlefield 3 Site they suggested that everything has gone back to normal but the official twitter account have not yet confirmed anything.

Lets hope everything gets fixed asap and especially before tonight when both our BF3 teams have friendly matches.

What is Wolfenstein? I am pretty sure most of you guys that are older than 20 years old played the first versions of Wolfenstein running around looking for those water bowls and Nazi flags. For those of you that don't know this was one of the first First Person Shooters that came out around the time Commander Keen and Doom was popular.

The first one most people probably recognize is Wolfenstein 3D which made this game one of the best of the Genre back then.

Wolfenstein then later released a few more of it with its latest one in 2009 with more recent technology used for the game.

Yesterday Bethesda announced the next release of its Wolfenstein series called Wolfenstein: The New Order which will be a bit more futuristic than its previous titles which will be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

The game is being developed by MachineGames. “We are excited to bring a new chapter of Wolfenstein to gamers everywhere,” said Jens Matthies, creative director at MachineGames. “As fans of the series, working on this game is an honor, and our team is driven to create an unforgettable action-adventure experience that will make FPS fans proud.”
